Wacky Monday!

Today Jon took me to the mall to get a manicure and pedicure! One thing that I love in this world is the smell and feel of the nail salon! It seriously is my happy place! And I have such an awesome husband who will take me! So I got my pedicure, which really helped my feet! I hadn't done anything with my toes since my birthday and so it was pretty bad and my toes looked awful! And then I got a manicure! I really debated getting fake nails put on again, just cause, they are so darn cute and after they are on you really don't have to worry about them, but they just cost so much in upkeep that I decided to stick with my real nails. Besides, I had gotten them to be at least a little bit stronger since I ripped off my last fake set. So my toes are a nice shade of pink, and my fingernails are a nice pale pink, to make them look a lot better than they did.

After the mani/pedi, Jon and I went to the food court and got pretzel bites and orange julius' which was super duper yummy!! And then we went to JC Penney, and found probably the best thing all day!! Which was, ANGRY BIRD SHIRTS!! Ok, so maybe we have a slight obsession with the silly iPhone App, but hey, we love them! Don't judge ok!? So Jon got a green pig shirt and I got a red Bird shirt and then we wore them later!!!!

Another thing that I did today was clean out the freezer and refrigerator... yeah... it was gross! I won't go into detail on this one but just know that it was nasty and I will never be the same! There are just sights and smells that you can never undo... But I was on a little cleaning rampage and so I was trying to tidy up as much as I could. I didn't get very far but it definitely was a start! As I was cleaning off the long tables in our living room I found a frame that I had put our marriage license in and a copy of the First Presidency's A Proclamation to the World that the Temple had given to us on our wedding day! I had been meaning to do more with it than just put them on the blank, boring white paper. And so I pulled out my scrapbooking paper and made a little background for them along with a border; then I pulled out some of the pictures from the wedding that I hadn't managed to put in the wedding scrapbook because there either wasn't a place for it, or it was almost identical to another picture and I ended up having four black and white photo's of us around the temple and then there was one coloured photo of us right after we'd come out of the temple. And so I put it all together and it turned out super nice! I was really pleased with how it looks. And when we get a house I will put it up on one of the walls and our kids can look at it and see it.
